This Privacy Policy explains how Davler Media Group, LLC (“Davler,” “Thought Gallery,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you access or use www.thoughtgallery.org (the “Site”), subscribe to our newsletter (“The Curriculum”), submit events for consideration, or otherwise interact with our services (collectively, the “Services”).
Notice at Collection: At or before the point of collection, we inform users of the categories of personal information collected, the purposes for which it is used, and their rights under applicable privacy laws. This Privacy Policy serves as that notice.
1) Information We Collect
We collect information in three primary ways:
A. Information You Provide
Newsletter & Communications: Email address and first name provided via sign-up forms or direct contact.
Event Submissions: Information provided by institutions and organizers, including contact names, event descriptions, locations, and media files.
B. Information Collected Automatically
Device and Usage Data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and pages viewed.
Cookies and Tracking: We use cookies and tags (including Google Analytics 4 and HubSpot) to understand site usage, manage subscriber interactions, and support site analytics.
C. Information From Partners
Aggregated reporting from analytics providers and payment processing via Authorize.net. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.
2) How We Use Information (Legal Bases)
For users in the EU/EEA, we process information under the following legal bases: Consent (newsletters), Contract (advertising orders), and Legitimate Interests (site security, analytics, and CRM management). We use information to:
Send The Curriculum newsletter and manage subscriber preferences.
Review event submissions and communicate with organizers.
Measure site performance and improve user experience.

3) How We Disclose Information
We may disclose information to:
Service Providers: Vendors assisting with hosting, HubSpot CRM management, email distribution, and security. They are contractually prohibited from using personal information for purposes other than providing services to Thought Gallery.
Analytics Partners: Partners like Google may receive cookie identifiers. Under California law, this may be considered “sharing” for analytics and measurement purposes.
Legal/Safety & Business Transfers: To comply with law or in connection with a merger or sale of assets.
We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration.
4) Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
California residents have the following rights:
Right to Know/Access & Right to Delete.
Right to Opt-Out of Sharing: You may opt out of the sharing of info for cross-context behavioral advertising or analytics.
Global Privacy Control (GPC): We honor GPC signals. If your browser transmits a valid GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of tracking.
Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

International Transfers: Data is processed in the U.S. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) to provide appropriate safeguards for data originating in the EU.

The Curriculum is an opt-in newsletter. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in our emails. We may still send non-promotional administrative messages (such as updates to these Terms) where necessary.

Retention: We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary to provide Services or comply with legal obligations.
Security: We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. No method is 100% secure.
9) Children’s Privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
10) International Users
Thought Gallery is intended primarily for users in the U.S. By using the Site, you understand that your information will be processed and stored in the United States.
